Landmark 90th Anniversary Travel Tours Iceland - Land of Fire & Ice

Experience historic landscapes, villages, and cities on this fascinating island where the North Atlantic and Arctic Oceans meet. We will have the unique opportunity to be traveling during this Landmark Anniversary Year travel tour, in the season when one has a chance to view the magical, awe-inspiring, Northern Lights.

Often described as “otherworldly,” Iceland is known for its dramatic volcanic terrains, glaciers, geothermal hot springs, waterfalls, and wildlife. It is a unique destination that offers pristine natural wonders, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant culture, all deeply rooted in ancient heritage.  We will relax in the soothing waters of the Blue Lagoon, discover black sand beaches and the rugged coastline, and explore the cosmopolitan city of Reykjavik with its old town center and iconic Hallgrimskirkja church.

Join Landmark Travels in discovering this amazing land of fire and ice. And doesn’t everyone need an Icelandic sweater?!

Cocktails & Carburetors returns in 2026!

We are revving up the engines to return to Titan Motorworks on Friday September 18th from 5PM to 8PM for another evening of great food, great drink, great cars, and great friends. Again this year, Max Rochester will be catering, the Mystic Sisters Band will be playing, and the ever-popular silent auction will be filled with gear head (and non-gear head) items. All of this combined with an open bar, bourbon tasting, and a fun group of supporters makes this one of the best parties of the year!

And the car-centric weekend continues on Saturday, September 19th from 10AM to 4PM with a self-guided tour to several private garages and car collections. This is a great opportunity for car enthusiasts to view unique and rare automobiles and to enjoy the company of like-minded automobile aficionados. And it’s also a wonderful way for those of us that just appreciate beautiful vehicles to spend a September Saturday afternoon alongside those we love.

Fifth Biennial Browncroft Garden Walk

Browncroft’s reputation for beautiful gardens dates back more than a century. In the early 1900s, the Brown Brothers Nursery shipped flowers and fruit trees across the country, helping establish a tradition that celebrated exceptional landscaping and horticultural beauty.

Celebrate this enduring legacy at the Fifth Biennial Browncroft Garden Walk, sponsored by the Browncroft Neighborhood Association, on Sunday, June 14, from 12:30–4:30 p.m. Stroll through a diverse collection of distinctive gardens—large and small—and discover the creativity, character, and charm that continue to define Browncroft today.

For this self-guided tour, pick up a map at 312 Beresford Road or at the Browncroft Rose Garden, located at the corner of Browncroft Boulevard and Merchants Road. Participating homes will be identified with event signs.

A suggested donation of $5 is appreciated.
